BEST RECIPE EVER!!!!!

ok so I loooove kraft.com because they have EASY and DELICIOUS recipes. (some are gross, you have to read the review) BUT this one was by far the BEST!! and the best thing was it only took me like 15 minutes to prepare it, and another 15 for Joel to grill! AMAZING!

Easy Chicken Skewers with Peanut Sauce

What You Need!
1/4 cup KRAFT CATALINA Dressing
3 Tbsp. peanut butter
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut lengthwise into strips
2 Tbsp. PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, chopped
1 green onion, chopped

Make It!
MIX first 3 ingredients in large bowl until well blended. Add chicken; toss to coat. Refrigerate 10 min.
HEAT broiler. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Thread chicken onto 8 skewers. Place on rack of broiler pan.
BROIL, 6 inches from heat, 4 min. on each side or until chicken is done. Top with nuts and onions.
*** I didnt add the peanuts or the onion, and they were still great. Also I marinaded the chicken for about 30 minutes instead of just 10. We also grilled ours instead of broiling them and they were soooo tender and juicy, so if you can grill, if not broiling is good too!
***They didnt have any sauce for the rice so I just heated up some Yoshidas sauce and poured it over and it went really well with the chicken :)

saw dust in my cereal please?

This is the fun mess I get to live in right now. Saw dust is everywhere, screws all over the floor, saws and drills on the furniture...etc. I will be soooo glad when we are DONE!

We ended up opting for the new countertop, new sink and new dishwasher instead of just doing aesthetics and im SOOO glad we did. I think I will love it when its finished, ha I just hate living in a mess!

We had to move the electrical outlet further up the wall in one spot, so here's Joel being all cute and handy- and his dad making sure he does it right ;)

In this one you can see the new sink, countertop (kind of) and dishwasher! yay!

and on a side note I finally finished my bedroom project :)

Out with the Old, In with the New!

So I am redoing my kitchen- I was debating on whether to spend oodles of money and COMPLETELY remodel, which would include a new layout, plumbing and electrical, new cabinets, a new countertop, floor, lighting etc. OR just paint and accessorize for a FRACTION of the cost.

What to do?????

Well we finally came to the decision that while a new more functional kitchen would be nice- keeping that tax credit in the bank is a better idea :)

So here are some pictures of the OLD kitchen...I dont think the people who lived in the house before us ever cleaned a day in their life. The walls just had gross primer paint layered on them, and were caked with everything from grease to dried cheese? who knows how that happens. So here are the gross before pictures.

So there are the before pictures.... and here is a peek at the NEW kitchen!

Im not done yet so I will post the Finished result soon, Hopefully ha ha
